I was rather miffed yesterday morning when I had a look at the flow rates website live stream (I see what you did there!) of the Whanganui River.
I could clearly see two canoes riding on the water. I thought the levels were too dangerous for us? And yet here was clear evidence that other people are in there. And they looked like they were having fun too.
I checked again this morning and there were people on there again! Clearly it was completely unnecessary that we cancelled our trip. Yes, we’re having a good time, but still. And then I took a closer look.
Unless there’s some sort of weird time loop thing going on, there’s a problem with the livestream. This realisation made me feel much better. I’m not missing out after all. And on top of that, here’s the view I have this morning.
