Speaking of cultural differences, I have found a persistent problem wherever we’ve been in Europe or the UK.
For some reason, people seem incapable of hanging their toilet rolls the correct way. I’ve fixed the problem when possible, but sometimes they’re secured in place and then I have to sadly admit defeat.
I suppose this is why we travel, isn’t it, to see how people do things wrong in other countries and try to be a civilizing influence where we can?
