Singing in the rain

I don’t know why people are put off cycling when it’s raining. I prefer it. All you need is a raincoat to protect you from the elements, and the best part is that there’s hardly anyone else about. Presumably the other fair weather cyclists and pedestrians are in their cars. It means I can cycle along the waterfront with nary a soul in sight, singing “raindrops keep falling on my head” with little fear of being overheard.
