Went in to the hospital overnight for a potential thrombectomy which didn\u2019t happen because the patient got better en route from Perpignan. Was chatting to the on call radiologist and mentioned the 98 year old thrombectomy from earlier in the day. She was equal parts amused and horrified: \u201cPromise me if I come in with a stroke when I\u2019m 98, you\u2019ll just let me die!\u201d Then she texted the on call radiologist from earlier in the day \u201cdid you treat the 98 year old??\u201d but he vehemently denied it. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t me! It was Lorenzo!\u201d Clearly there\u2019s more to this whole thrombectomy business than meets the eye – but I\u2019m still a fan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
