It was with some trepidation that I got my second Pfizer vaccination on Friday.<\/p>\n
Simon had got his earlier in the week and had been laid low by it – a fever of 38.7 the following day and several more days of feeling grotty.<\/p>\n
And me? I\u2019ve had no side effects at all. Well, maybe a very slight hangover feeling, out of proportion to the two glasses of Pinot gris I indulged in the night before – but that\u2019s it. My husband says he feels sorry for me that my immune system is clearly so feeble in any sort of response it\u2019s been able to muster – but I\u2019m OK with that.<\/p>\n
