<\/p>\nWhen I need to have a pee while we are out in the countryside on our bikes, I say \u201cI need to answer nature\u2019s call!\u201d, and after I have relieved myself behind a shrub I say \u201cI am now at one with nature!\u201d This is always funny: I\u2019m sure my daughter finds it so. I guess I could also consider that I have become one with nature after I have inhaled a bug (an occupational hazard while cycling) but that doesn\u2019t have the same appeal. Why do we say \u2018have a pee\u2019 but \u2018do a wee\u2019? Either way it is a girlish euphemism for urination but that\u2019s fine by me. My brother introduced me to the term \u2018waz\u2019 – rhymes with \u2018has\u2019 – as in \u2018have a waz\u2019 and I like this phrase for its comedic value.<\/p>\n
