<\/p>\nThe best thing about European conferences is that they are all conducted in English. This means that you\u2019ll often get these super clever doctors with brains the size of planets for whom English is their second (or third or fourth) language, struggling to explain themselves with imperfect grammar and strong accents. It\u2019s really cute and makes them much less intimidating. The morning wellness session is certainly much more appealing when your calisthenics is being guided in a French accent. Adding to the general appeal is the name of some of the studies they are quoting, although this isn\u2019t just a European thing of course. \u00a0The landmark clot retrieval study is Mr Clean. The worst part of European conferences is the laissez faire European attitude to time keeping. I\u2019m sorry, professeur, your accent is becoming less charming as my morning coffee becomes more overdue.<\/p>\n
