A lovely swim in the river up here in Waikanae after work. I stripped off my togs in the outside shower, and hung them up on the line, knowing that I\u2019d be able to slip in the side door and avoid the prying eyes of neighbours and passers by. Unfortunately, I\u2019d forgotten that my husband, for some reason known only to himself, never bothers to unlock the side door. This gave me the option of either the front or the back doors, both very exposed positions. Of course I could have put my wet togs back on, but who would voluntarily do that? In the end I found a window and hammered loudly on it until my husband reluctantly got up from where he was drinking a leisurely beer in the sun, and unlocked the door for me. Not sure if there\u2019s a lesson to be learned from this. I\u2019m taking suggestions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
