Hugs all round from the flamboyant friend of our ICU patient today. I can\u2019t remember the last time I was hugged in the line of duty. As an introvert I was very anxious when I saw the chap hugging his way around all the theatre staff who had come to do the pick up, but actually it wasn\u2019t too awful when it came to my turn. I did feel a sense of relief when we saw he wasn\u2019t there when we dropped the patient back though.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
