Everyone is very lovely. The ODAs\/ODPs are efficient and very helpful.<\/p>\n
Surgeons understand that blood loss is due to surgery, not anaesthesia.<\/p>\n
Things that are bad with the NHS:<\/p>\n
0800hrs list briefing; list finishes at 18:15! No thanks!<\/p>\n
Anaesthetic rooms. I don\u2019t know why everyone remembers these so fondly? OK, you get to do your secretive anaesthetic stuff away from prying eyes and then present the patient completely ready \u201cvoila!\u201d, but the compromise is pretty subpar equipment and monitoring, which you then have to completely detach from while you transfer to a completely different room and move onto the operating table. Feels very dodgy.<\/p>\n
