<\/p>\nI told you about the jewellery I didn\u2019t buy yesterday, but lest you think I\u2019ve been too virtuous, I want to tell you about the jewellery I did buy.<\/p>\n
I bought a Swarovski charm in the shape of a heart. We all know what a heart looks like, right?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But in fact, we also equally know that this is a lie. I\u2019m guessing most of us have seen an animal heart? You will have seen it in the kitchen, and it\u2019s even in fairy tales. Remember when the huntsman gives the Evil Queen a deer\u2019s heart as proof that he has indeed killed Snow White? (This detail may not appear in the PG versions but the brothers Grimm never shied away from the grisly or disturbing.) I\u2019ve been refreshing my knowledge of the anatomy of the heart in my prereading for an upcoming ultrasound in resuscitation course. So, I didn\u2019t but this charm:<\/p>\n
