I syringed out my ears the other day and managed to get out two enormous plugs of wax which was most gratifying. My first thought was, I must take a photo of the results of my endeavours, to send to Simon. I knew he\u2019d be appreciative. But then I thought, what if he finds it gross and off putting? I know that disgust is majorly bad juju as far as relationships go. In the end I emptied the sink and never even told him about it. So, did I do the right thing? I was sorry to miss the opportunity for shared joy, but was it just too great a risk to take? And was my fear an even worse sign for our future?<\/p>\n
