\u2026may be over before it\u2019s barely started.<\/p>\n

I went for a run yesterday with Simon. My right ankle started hurting straight away, which it has before. But this time, it stayed painful after we finished, and still hurts now. I\u2019ve been limping around since yesterday, even having taken anti inflammatories. Sadly (\u201csadly\u201d) there\u2019s nothing to see, so I can\u2019t post a photo of the offending joint looking swollen and\/or bruised.
\nIt\u2019s been less than a month since my first run, and in that time I\u2019ve \u00a0bought:<\/p>\n

new shoes (with thick soft soles, purely to annoy Simon who is a purist. Note these are\u00a0not\u00a0<\/em>the cause of my current problem, which only happens when I use my old thin soled Nikes).<\/p>\n

new EarPods that don\u2019t fall out<\/p>\n

new running shorts<\/p>\n

thank goodness I stopped there before going\u00a0completely\u00a0<\/em>overboard. Let\u2019s see what a couple of days rest brings.<\/p>\n
