It’s day three since my viral exposure at work, and I really thought I’d got away with it.
However, over the last few hours I’ve developed a headache, stuffiness, runny nose, sneezes, fatigue and malaise. I’m writing this from my bed.
Having said all that, it could still all just be hayfever, ramped up with an element of hysteria. After all, I don’t have a sore throat and there’s little in the way of objective signs, such as coughing. I remain hopeful.
My husband tells me he can’t see any point in worrying about it. Either I’ll get sick or I won’t, there’s nothing I can do. I’m not even going to dignify this comment with the term ‘advice’, even though he may well be right. What’s the point of worrying about anything then, seems to be the logical conclusion.
