Take it off

Speaking of getting naked, have you noticed the difference between the ways that men and women take their tops off?

That’s a gross generalisation of course, but it still rings true in my limited experience. I’m not talking about when people are trying to be seductive or alluring, but rather just as in a routine change of garb, for example.
Women will cross their arms over their stomachs, grab hold of the bottom hem, and then lift their arms up in front of their body with a flourish, ending up with the garment inside out in front of them. A controlled, sensible manoeuvre.

Men? Not so much. Although their technique does win points for a certain chaotic sexiness. Both hands reach over their shoulders to grab a fistful of fabric, they lean forward, and then pull their hands over their head. If all goes according to plan, the top is removed in one flowing movement, and they are left bare chested with ruffled hair, and a charming grin if you’re lucky. Sometimes, though, things go awry, unlike for the women’s foolproof method. When that happens, the poor things are left with their head stuck, arms flailing uselessly about in front of them, still stuck in the sleeves.

It’s no wonder men are so agog when they see a woman take off a bra without removing their shirts first. Come on guys! It’s just basic topology.
