We’ve dropped off the hire car so just writing down some thoughts.

We ate last night at an old converted post office. It was more upmarket than the pub we ate at the night before , but still mostly for locals.

A big day of sightseeing.

It didn’t feel like we achieved much today, there were several episodes of frustration which didn’t kill us so will make us stronger.

After our city walking tour this morning, we wondered what to do the rest of the day, so I scrolled through ‘Get your guide’ and found a food and wine tour to do in the evening.

I should have said this earlier, but the Ford Cortina car got its name from the Italian town. During the Winter Olympics of 1956, they drove some of them down the bobsled track as a publicity stunt.

A beautiful little chalet style hotel as befits a classy European ski town.

I’ve been awake since 4 am. An hour of self loathing; followed by free form anxiety not otherwise specified until the alarm went. Horrid.

Left the apartment in Trento with no problems. We explained to the lady via WhatsApp that we could never get the coffee machine to work at all which was essentially true.

Awake at four am for an hour again, so very uninterested in rising and shining when Simon’s alarm went off at 8:30.
