Only days after my recent post complaining about my beautiful but painful boots, I got an email from the company thanking me for my support.
No, they hadn’t read the post and were being sarcastic, it’s just that I’m in their database as a previous purchaser. They turn out to be a small New Zealand based, female led company that are struggling in the current tough economic climate. Bugger. So now I’m the bad guy. They certainly make attractive shoes, and they are by no means the only shoe makers whose products hurt my feet. Good luck to them I say, and maybe we can talk again when the economic outlook is better. By which time, if they’re still in business, they probably won’t care a bit about what one fashion impaired, flat footed, middle aged lady thinks.
