Actually, on that note, very sorry to hear that the iconic Auckland department store Smith and Caugheys is closing down. Queen St is not the shopping mecca it once was, apparently.
I remember popping in to try out hats when I was a teenager. Jeepers (“jeepers”?) how old am I?? I suppose it was last century…
