Book review – A Fly Under The Radar by William McCartney

This is the second best book I have ever read, after Pride and Prejudice (of course).*

It’s a tightly plotted crime thriller, presumably drawing on the author’s experience as a lawyer, but also very very funny. It follows the misadventures of a cynical reprobate criminal lawyer called Van Stilton. I don’t know Bill at all but I consider this novel the single greatest achievement of his life, up to and including siring an Olympic medal winning athlete (sorry Eliza). I highly recommend this book, and I’m looking forward to seeing the film (please) and reading the sequels.
Available on Kindle and also as a physical analogue book if you’re that way inclined.

*an inside joke.
