Keen to avoid any sporting topics this week. In lieu of that, here is a pic I managed to get of Fanny the swollen goldfish yesterday.
Yes, I know he looks awful – but actually he’s behaving a lot brighter than he has been, swimming around happily with Jackie and Edward, and eating normally. Maybe he’s over the worst and will be one of the lucky few to survive dropsy? Of course, my diagnosis could also be erroneous, but I don’t imagine whatever else it is would have any better a survival rate. Fingers crossed, anyway.
