Made a clever plan this morning to divide and conquer. I would go to the conference, and Simon would head out to the airport to try and track down our lost luggage.

Edinburgh day 2
Woke up to the screech of an alarm I hadn’t set – it was that old chestnut, the bedside clock left set to go off at some godawful hour as a trap for the unwary.
Edinburgh
It’s 00:30 hours and I’m finally in bed after a very long day.
Adieux Eurozone!
An event filled day, and it’s only lunchtime. I’m writing this in the airport lounge in Luxembourg, drinking a glass of the local bubbly (crémant) and eating a slice of clafoutis. We almost didn’t make it here so I’m celebrating.
Luxembourg
What a lovely city. This is what generations of wealth can bring you.
Auf Wiedersehen Pet
I’m writing this whilst roasting in an expensive Luxembourg hotel. I’m trying to nap but it’s so so hot.
Down on the Rhine
Last day on our Mosel cycling trip.
More Mosel, ending up at another Schloss
Dinner last night, as I previously mentioned, was at a nice little place behind our hotel, the same one we had lunch in.
Mosel Zeltingen to Zell
Another lovely day in Germany cycling along the Mosel/Moselle river.
Three-peat
Trittenheim to Zeltingen, approx 35 k according to our route guide but with my help it was more like 60.
