I’ve been thinking about that flash American neurosurgeon with the 4.5 star rating.
I wonder how they decide whether the reviews are genuine? From patients and their families, you’d hope. But what if they don’t certify them at all? Maybe his mother has been putting five star reviews in whenever she can. Which makes 4.5 look even worse.
And what about patients who do really badly, and are either incapable of filling out a consumer satisfaction survey, or if they’ve suffered the ultimate and final surgical complication, from whence they will never rate anything ever again? So, presumably those that would like to suggest that they’re really not please with how things have gone are automatically excluded from providing feedback. Talk about a fix up!
