Just had a haircut.
All the mod cons, a comfy chair that electronically reclines and even vibrates when you have your hair washed, a (nasty) coffee out of the machine while the cut progresses, a paper tie to protect your throat from the cape, even weighted shoulder pads, the purpose of which escapes me.
The hairdresser asked me if I wanted blow dried waves or just my natural curls at the end, and I plumped for the latter. He then wheeled over this contraption and positioned it over my head.
I don’t know what this thing is, or even what it’s called. It very gently blowed warm air at me for about ten minutes and produced no discernible effect.
When he removed the cape I was disbelieving. I looked exactly how I look when I step out of the shower having washed my hair in the morning. That’ll be $165 please.
