Our cycle company, for whom Patrick works, is called “Normandie Rando”, which translates roughly as rambles, but reminds me of my offspring using rando as short for random. I think that can be for a person as well as a thing or even an event?

Last day of our cycle trip.

The Queen is dead!

There is a local and ancient language in Brittany known as Breton. It’s related to Celtic and/or Gaelic (sorry not to be more specific – I’m interested but not an expert!)

A shorter, less demanding ride today, so that when the elderly helmetless lady in the flowery sundress whooshed past us on her bicycle we didn’t feel too pressured.
