After the little example of brain fade at work I described yesterday, I thought it might be apposite to reflect on the things I am doing to promote my own brain health.

Commuting into work this morning on my ridiculously expensive ebike, I ended up cycling side by side with a MAMIL on an equally expensive road bike.

Handing my patient over to the recovery nurse this afternoon was a bit of a struggle.

I do feel sorry for politicians sometimes, never being able to say exactly what they’d like because of the need to be politic.

I told a friend about my blog a couple of months ago  

Walking the dogs through the cemetery  a few nights ago, Goofy barked at a man who suddenly loomed out of the darkness.

Have come to National Park on the volcanic plateau to catch up with friends.

Have spent the weekend at a conference for writers.

As the duty anaesthetist in the hospital last night, part of my purview was helping to manage any out-of-hours pain problems amongst hospital inpatients.
