Before I caught COVID,
I was really proud of myself for managing to avoid it. Of course I was sympathetic to those who were sick, with no word of blame, but I thought privately that I was obviously very careful with my infection control techniques, as well as likely having a very powerful immune system.
However, now I’ve had COVID, I find those few remaining individuals who still haven’t had it to be unbearably smug, friendless, and uptight. Weird, huh?
