Did a list this week where the surgeon had a junior working with him for the day.
It was purely for the benefit of the younger doctor, to broaden his experience, but it does give the surgeon an assistant and someone to talk to.
I’m sorry that for privacy reasons I can’t tell you the name of the junior, but suffice to say, it was just about the most Italian sounding name you could think of. It was right up there with another well known plastic surgeon, Giovanni Nicoletti.
He was certainly of Italian extraction – he was reminiscing about cooking gnocchi with his mother when he was younger. Probably born in Naenae though.
In fact I studied Italian for a while a few years ago. I tried to dredge some phrases from my memory to impress the young man but only managed to ask where were the toilets in Spanish.
