Heard a very refreshing interview on the radio this morning with Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, our first winter Olympics gold medalist.
What a delightful person she is. Very kiwi and down to earth but with a real zest for life and an obvious love of her sport, and the camaraderie of her fellow competitors. This is the sort of sporting hero that young people should be trying to emulate, and corporations give their sponsorship dollars to, rather than empty shells of human beings like Novaxx. He can play tennis but has nothing else to recommend him.
