You know it’s coming dangerously close to Christmas when the musical entertainment provided in the hospital atrium is a glockenspiel and a harp playing jaunty, festive tunes.I don’t think I’ve ever seen either of those instruments in person. They were playing when I slipped out of theatre to buy my lunch, I gave them a clap and a “bravo!” when they were done. Love me some Christmas music.
For perspective, it’s usually a lone pianist playing mournful dirges, or if you’re even more unlucky, someone playing the folk guitar.
