In trouble at work because my newsletter editorial was too mean about anti-vaxxers,
specifically the 7% of district health board employees who haven’t had even one COVID jab, so are at risk of losing their jobs. All I said was good riddance to bad rubbish, or words to that effect – and suddenly I’m the bad guy.
If you’ve a job in science-based health but you’re anti-vax then perhaps a break-out career in crystal-healing is the career-change opportunity you’ve been waiting for. I’m with you. Weeding out health workers (and teachers for that matter) who don’t believe in the science is a filter I’m remarkably comfortable with!
Now that it’s actually happened, and they’ve been outed – it’s quite baffling who the secret antivaxxers are. They still have to go, though. There’s no way they can argue they haven’t had the opportunity to do the right thing.
