Just finished another book that I didn’t particularly enjoy.
At least this one – a fake autobiography in diary form – had some literary merit, has taught me something about recent history, and given me food for thought. The last one – with witches and vampires – had no literary merit at all, so if it wasn’t an enjoyable read then it was a complete waste of time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not (too much of) a snob, I’m happy to read lightweight books but they have to give you a good time at least!
