Told off by my boss today for my sarky comments in last week’s newsletter.
Apparently one of the senior nurses complained about the bit where I revealed that the reception nurse had written down a patient’s height as 11 foot 5 inches. No matter that the newsletter is aimed only at our department, not for other theatre staff. I took it meekly. After all, it’s a bit mean to punch down, isn’t it?
Imagine if they knew I’d mentioned it in a blog post!
