After two weeks of lockdown, I’m struggling to remember what normal life is like.
To be fair, as an essential worker, I’ve still been going to work, which saves me from much of the feeling of being trapped that is part of the lockdown experience for many. But even in my own time, sitting around the house, reading, watching tv, or talking to family, broken up with a daily walk around the botanical gardens with the dogs, feels like all there ever has been in my life.
Of course, plenty of people are really doing it tough. Fingers crossed for today’s announcement, then.
