The snorkeling here is amazing.
I’ve seen dozens of different sorts of fish in the lagoon, within 100 metres of where I’m writing this on the deck of our villa. Most I recognize from Finding Nemo, but my favourite is an innocuous looking brown fish. It’s not that it’s particularly beautiful, it’s the bolshy attitude I like. It looks at you head on as you swim towards it, and doesn’t back off. It seems to be saying “You want a piece of me??” “You and whose army, punk!” with a sneer and a curl of it’s lip.
