My daughter was in the same year at her expensive overrated private school as Thomasin McKenzie.
She tells me she’s gutted that Thomasin is in so many upcoming movies this year. This is not because she’s jealous – somehow she has avoided inheriting my baser instincts – but because she can’t immerse herself properly in a movie if someone she knows personally is in it. In addition, she finds it creepy that Thomasin kisses Matt Smith in one of her roles “because he’s, like, a million years old!” (actually 38 according to Google).
