Just watched a video on YouTube via Facebook about baby animals.
It wasn’t a particularly serious or professional video, mostly just splicing together snippets from other sources and focusing on how cute all the animals were. There were a few birth scenes, and I soon noticed something odd about them.
They’ve pixelated out all the mothers’ lady bits! Unbelievable. The video appeared to be American in origin so I’m guessing this censorship is to fit in with their sensibilities, if not a legal requirement. I’m surprised they didn’t try to pixelate out any udders. What message are they sending their viewers? The vulva that 50% of you have is so disgusting and shameful that we can’t bear to show it to you? Well, I can’t see any psychological damage coming out of that policy, can you?
