Anguished

I am privately pleased that my Tesla wouldn’t qualify for the new Electric vehicle subsidy, so I don’t need to torment myself that I should have waited to buy it.
Does that make me a bad person? No, I don’t think it does. Not as bad, anyway, as those with gas guzzling cars who’ve suddenly discovered they don’t believe in climate change and/or are racing out to buy a new one before the penalty  comes  in. (“An existential crisis that affects all mankind is all very well, but this is going to affect me personally”)
