Worked a long day yesterday, 14 hours, and I still felt chipper and enthused at the end of it. That’s what holidays are for!
No guarantees how long the high will stick around – someone told me years ago that it’s been proven not to endure longer than a week. In the meantime I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.
No symptoms of dengue fever yet, I think the incubation period is longer than the holiday honeymoon.
