While we’re on the subject of couture, what’s the story with zip placement?
I bought a completely unnecessary new dress the other day – although it was on sale, so that doesn’t really count as an expenditure – and I love it, but it fastens with a long zip that goes down the middle of my back. The contortions I have to go through to fasten and unfasten it make my efforts at yoga look like child’s play. Thank goodness I don’t have frozen shoulders anymore. Am I the only one who struggles like this? Surely not. So what are the manufacturers thinking? Are we all supposed to have maids who will help us get dressed in the morning?? So far I’ve managed to find friendly helpful colleagues to assist me in the changing rooms, but can I keep riding my luck like that? (Do ya feel lucky, Punk? Wanna be stuck in that dress forever? Well do ya?)
