In the midst of all the usual news stories about how the world is going down the toilet in many and various ways, I found an article in the Guardian last week on the demise of the skinny jean, and what’s likely to come next.
it was a pleasant distraction.

One potential replacement is the return of the low rise. I’m not particularly enthused by that, not because I fear the muffin top, but because of their tendency to keep drifting southwards, so that I found myself having to hook my fingers through the belt loops and hoicking them up every few minutes. Wearying.
On the other hand, I’m too old to deal with another flares rerun. I may have to stick with fat pants.
