I got my seconds pierced (a second piercing in each ear lobe for all you neophytes) last year.
They’ve both had cute little diamond studs permanently in place ever since. I lost the left one whilst I was up in Auckland a couple of weeks ago, which saw me scrabbling around on the floor on my hands and knees looking for it, to no avail. I had just managed to knock it out somehow, whilst vigorously towel drying my hair I think.
I tried to put a positive spin on it by saying to myself, well now I have the chance to wear some of the other studs I bought last year. However, I was a bit worried about losing another one of a pair, so I went onto trade me and bought a couple of single studs. They arrived this week, just in time for me to lose the diamond stud out of my right ear in another bathroom mishap.
So, now I am feeling a little sorry for myself, and I also have two mismatched single studs if anyone wants them?
Simple solution – cut one ear off!
Ouch! I don’t know how they do things across the ditch mate, but that seems fairly extreme…
Less extreme: get an extra piercing in one ear
That’s a really good idea, and a very reasonable suggestion. Your prize for the best comment of the day is: two stud earrings, nearly new, in excellent condition. I will courier them to you. Congratulations!
Huzzah!
