What I said in my department wide email last night:
”The C arm (a piece of xray equipment) has broken which means that we may need to do cases in different rooms to the usual angiography suite. Take care in checking the location of any cases requiring anaesthesia in the next few days.”
What I wanted to say:
”The C arm has shat itself…”
Why is it that informal language is so much better at conveying the idea you want to get across than normal formal language?
