The first of my overseas friends – an erstwhile colleague, now in Germany- has had his first COVID 19 vaccination.
He said the worst part was the reaction he had to the sticking plaster.
I wonder when we’ll be getting ours? Hopefully it will still be calmly in the environment of zero community transmission, rather than frantically amidst a rising pressure of cases, as elsewhere.
In the meantime, my husband is wondering if it would be foolishly optimistic to book a pacific island holiday for this coming winter.
What will the future hold?
