Why are all the mugs available so minuscule?
Mostly I’m horrified by American portion sizes, but as far as hot drinks go, I think they’re onto the right thing. When I need a good cup of joe in the morning I don’t want to waste my time with delicate little cups. I fill my plunger to the top, and I want my drink receptacle to take the full amount. Leaving coffee in the plunger to get cold with the dregs is just a waste.
Incidentally, in our household, and in a move that would confuse Goldilocks, it’s the ladies of the house who prefer the larger drinking vessels. My husband likes tiny cups for his short black of a morning. Each to his own.
