Would not have enjoyed doing it in my Tesla.
Have arrived at the famous Duke of Marlborough Hotel in Russell. Looking forward to glorious views across the Bay of Islands from our balcony room. This is the view we’ve got:
Apparently balcony can be construed to mean internal balcony. Am I the only one to consider that a lame cop out??

With some encouragement, Simon has gone to ask if an upgrade is possible, but considering he’s already “utilized the facilities” in our room, I think it’s unlikely.

Ah well. At least we’ve got a room in the most popular hotel in town I suppose.
