Discovered this week that one of the guests at our cocktail party fractured a finger pretty badly on the night.
This was due to a seemingly innocuous slip down the stairs at a very early stage of the evening when everything was still pretty decorous. It took a couple of weeks to diagnose which makes me think pathologists are fairly cerebral people without much “hands on” stuff to do at work.
I’m very sorry this happened but also a little nervous that ACC may have us on some sort of danger list, since it’s been almost two years since our housekeeper slipped down our back stairs and ruptured a ligament in her knee, and after multiple assessments and a total knee replacement she’s still off on full time income support.
Must make sure we invite an orthopaedic surgeon to our next party.
