In a possibly prescient move, I ordered a couple of jigsaw puzzles a few weeks ago. One was the London Underground map, a very clever design and a blueprint for such maps around the world, and one of World War Two planes, because you got some huge discount for ordering two, and I remember a Janes guide to planes from my youth. I was eagerly awaiting their arrival, and they were delivered yesterday. This is what I got:
Not only not what I ordered, and considerably battered, but two identical puzzles. Of course, I’m now having terrible trouble trying to track down the company to return them – the head office is in China. I suspect I will never get resolution. Lesson learned – don’t buy stuff advertised on Facebook (although I did get two lovely dog leads a while ago…) In the meantime, would anyone like a free 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle of Times Square?
