Discovered over the weekend that Simon and were reading the same book. I found this out not by talking to him (pfffft) but because my Kindle kept asking me if I’d like to go to the furthest point read. It wasn’t my usual style of book – it had goblins, elves, and witches in it – but the cover looked fun and I’ve enjoyed books by that author before. Fantasy is usually more my husband’s genre of choice. Anyway, I managed to finish the book way ahead of him. His time was taken up with trying recipes in his new sous vide – and they were all totally delicious.
