Had an argument with my french teacher today about whether doors in France have the instruction “pull” on them (in French). She thought they didn’t so then I had to show her this picture I googled:
She was dismayed although she did point out that the caption with it said that it was from a restaurant in Paris (with a laughing sneer) which apparently means something if you’re from France. Anyway, it seems she’s getting out of touch with how things are back in her homeland and it’s time for her to go back for a visit. Her and me both, actually – sigh.
