The downside of booking a waterfront apartment for the weekend is that there are a number of other people with more friends but a worse taste in music doing the same thing.
Month: July 2020
I’ve bought a new car!
It’s red!
The price of fashion
Very pleased with my lovely new vintage black sequined coat, bought today at the famous “Tatty’s” second hand shop in Ponsonby, a purchase necessitated by much colder climes than anticipated.
Birthday continued
When the chap in the Tesla shop was filling out his forms, he asked me what my birthdate was.
Hick
Boy did I feel like a country cousin today when I was in a cafe in Ponsonby and I asked for sugar for my flat white.
Grave aspect
There is a memorial in our local graveyard to a noted luminary that I must confess I have never previously heard of.
Back up
If my Tesla owning plans fall by the wayside for whatever reason, I’ve nominated my fall back position – a fully electric mini.
A magical journey
Did a long trek with my walking group last night, although actually there were just the two of us – it’s lucky I brought the dogs otherwise it might have been awkward.
Scented
The cemetery smells delicious at the moment, due to all the daphne that flowers in winter.
Stylish
If you’re lucky, there might be a plastic surgeon involved when you have your skull sawed open, in which case they’ll go to the trouble of washing your hair at the end of the procedure.
